How to Say Nice Things About Someone’s Art

Let’s face it - you are not going to love everyone’s art. Not everything is for everyone. And the rise of the wine and paint studios created a lot of budding artists, which means that you may be seeing more newbie art than ever. And that is a wonderful thing!! One thing we never want to do is to discourage someone from creating.

Newbie artists can be fragile. One wrong word could send them packing, never to return to the world of creativity. And this is a tragedy, because the mere act of creating something can be a life saver. I know because it’s saved my life more times than I can count. Or, at least it’s saved my sanity. And in that way it may have saved someone else’s life!

In this video I give you some tips on how to find ways to appreciate someone’s art, even if you don’t really like it. There is always something to appreciate!
