Everyone Can Paint
Painting is a skill, just like cooking or playing the guitar. With a little guidance and a lot of practice, you get better. And the better you get, the more fun you have.
The good news is that practicing painting is fun! In fact, I encourage my students to think of everything as practice.
My teaching methods focus on positive reinforcement; looking for what’s working, and expanding on that.
Too much damage has been inflicted by critical art teachers.
Am I the right teacher for you? Watch the video below, and then scroll down to peruse my offerings. If you’re not sure if we’re a good fit, or if you need group classes or private lessons, you can schedule a 15-minute Zoom consultation with me. For free, no strings attached.
Wednesday Evening Guided Painting Classes
Join me on Zoom and I’ll walk you through recreating the featured painting or photo of the session. No painting experience is needed. Class sizes are small so I’m able to meet each student where they are and help them individually. I encourage you to follow me as much as you like and take creative license when ready.
An art journal is a visual diary. It can combine painting, drawing, collage, imagery, words... Simply put, it can be whatever want or need it to be.
Join me Thursday evenings, and each week we'll start a different project.
Thursday Evening Art Journaling
Open Painting Sessions
We meet on Zoom Tuesday evenings (and occasional weekend days) to work on our own projects in a group. Get feedback on what you’re working on (if you like). I’m there working on my own paintings, and available for help when needed.
Commit to your art by joining one of our monthly art groups! Choose from Open Painting Sessions, Art Classes, Art Journaling sessions, the Class Recording Library, or choose a bundled package.
Each group has a free trial, so you’ve got nothing to lose!
Monthly Memberships
Do you learn better one-on-one? I offer private lessons over Zoom, or in your home or office in the Denver-Metro area.
