What can I say? I love trees. I love walking amongst trees, photographing them, sketching them, and of course, painting them.
This imagined treescape was painted on a 1.5 inch thick gallery wrapped canvas. I used many layers of oil paint to achieve a deep, rich feel. On the final layer I added dashes of iridescent oil colors to add cool, shimmery, wintery feel.
